Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GrabUGC (the “Service”), operated by Abersoft Technologies AB, a company registered in Sweden under organisation number 559241-9823 (“Abersoft”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, purchasing a clip, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What GrabUGC provides

GrabUGC sells digital video clips depicting reaction and point-of-view performances. All individuals shown in the clips are entirely computer-generated. They are not real people, are not based on, derived from, or trained to replicate any specific real individual, and no real-person likeness is intended or represented. Because no real performers are involved, no model releases are required.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase clips.

3. Licence granted

When you purchase a clip and the payment is completed, Abersoft grants you a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, non-transferable licence to use that clip’s clean master file for commercial and non-commercial purposes, including in advertising, marketing, social media content, and client work.

This licence is non-exclusive: the same clip may be licensed to other customers. We do not guarantee that any clip is or will remain unique to you.

4. What you may not do

The licence does not permit you to resell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise make the clip available as a standalone video asset. In particular, you may not:

• resell or redistribute a clip, in whole or in part, as stock footage, B-roll, or any similar standalone media product;
• include a clip in any library, marketplace, dataset, or collection offered to third parties;
• use a clip to create, train, or contribute to a product or service that competes with GrabUGC;
• claim authorship or exclusive ownership of a clip, or remove any provenance or attribution information we may include.

Put simply: you may freely use the clips in your own content and marketing, but you may not sell the clips themselves or use them to build a competing catalogue.

5. Your responsibility for use

You are solely responsible for how you use the clips, including ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws, platform policies, and advertising regulations in your jurisdiction. You must not use the clips in any unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, or harmful manner, including in a way that falsely represents the generated individuals as real people endorsing a product, where doing so would be misleading or unlawful.

6. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown on the Service and are charged in the currency indicated at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details. You agree to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase.

7. Delivery, refunds, and your right of withdrawal

Clips are digital goods delivered immediately. Once you have downloaded the clean master file, the product is considered delivered and is non-refundable.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. By completing a purchase and accessing the download, you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download has begun.

If you experience a genuine technical problem that prevents you from downloading a clip you have paid for, contact us at info@abersoft.se and we will resolve it, which may include re-delivery or, at our discretion, a refund.

8. Intellectual property

Abersoft retains all ownership of the clips, the Service, and all related intellectual property. Your purchase grants the licence described in section 3 only; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying clip or any intellectual property rights.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service and the clips are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Abersoft’s total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable mandatory law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms. Licences for clips you have already purchased and downloaded survive termination, subject to the restrictions in section 4.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will not apply retroactively to clips you have already purchased.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of Sweden shall have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
